Mr. Roger Garrison is from Nicholasville, Kentucky. He received his Bachelor of Music Education and Masters in Education from Georgetown College, Georgetown, Kentucky.

 

Mr. Garrison retired after teaching music at Brookside Elementary in Nicholasville for 27 years. He continues to share his love for music education through volunteering and as a substitute teacher in area schools. In addition, he is honing his acting skills through participation in local theatre groups.

 

He has produced and directed many musicals, concerts and special events. Mr. Garrison has also served as a church music director for over 20 years and is currently Music Director at Hillcrest Baptist Church, Lexington. Mr. Garrison said, “I so enjoyed joining the Mad Camp staff three years ago and am looking forward to an exciting time this year!
